The many divisions of elves that make up the world are common knowledge to most; but what is less well known, is that even among the distinguishable categories, Elves sometimes group themselves into infinitely more niche subgroups. Moon elves ( also called Silver Elves) are one such subcategory of High Elves, who’s knowledge and affinity for magic is tied to their fondness for darkness. They are well known for dabbling in gravitational magic and dress themselves in enchanted fabrics that billow as if they were under water.
If you choose to specialise within the subgroup of High Elves, ignore the Subrace notes provided in the Player’s Handbook, and instead, gain the following traits:
Ability Score Increase:
Your Intelligence score increases by 1.
Elf Weapon Training:
You have proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow and longbow.
You can speak, read and write one extra language of your choice.
You know the Mage Hand cantrip, which for you is invisible. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Jump spell once per day. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the Levitate spell once per day. Intelligence is your spell-casting ability for these spells.
Your darkvision has a radius of 120 feet.
You have disadvantage on attack rolls and on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight when you, the target of your attack, or whatever you are trying to perceive is in direct sunlight.
